Diesus, known as the Amaro del Frate, was born in the sixties. It has always been one of the leading products of Barbero 1891, a company founded in the late nineteenth century in the lower Piedmont, which became part of the Campari Group in 2003. The Amaro del Frate (friar) is one of the first advertising claims that has become common use in post-war Italy. It is recognized both for the unmistakable shape of its bottle and for its traditional bitter taste, typical of liqueurs historically produced in convents. A traditional bitter, fruit of the infusion in fine wines and aromatic herbs such as china, gentian and thyme. Alcohol content 18% vol.
