Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Contesa is a soft and complex wine obtained from 100% Montepulciano grapes aged for 12 months in 30 hl Slavonian oak and 4 months in bottle. Grape variety: Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 100% Winemaking: The grapes are pressed and left to macerate with a hat reassembly system, for a period of 8/10 days. After the racking, after a short period of storage, we move on to aging Aging: The wine is aged in 30 Hl oak barrels for a period of over 12 months. After bottling the wine rests at least 4 months in the bottle. Alcohol content: 13.00% vol. Organoleptic properties: Intense ruby ​​red colour with garnet reflections, very clear and consistent. With very intense and persistent aromas, of fine quality and with notes of ripe red fruit, in particular, berries and jam, with toasted hints of cocoa. Round, warm, rightly tannic taste. Full-bodied, structured, mature. Pairings: tasty first courses, roasted and braised meats. Recommended with game and seasoned cheeses and cured meats.
