The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Pasetti is obtained from the pressing of the grapes of the same name with a yield of 110 quintals per hectare. The grapes, harvested towards the end of October, undergo a maceration of the skins for 10 - 15 days and the wine obtained after a first period of storage in stainless steel containers, is left to mature in 60 hl oak barrels for a period of 9 months. After being bottled, it is left to rest for 6 months. With intense beautiful deep ruby red colour, with hints of black cherry, currant and blackberry, accompanied by nuances of licorice, cinnamon and black pepper. A warm, soft and evolved tannins, with a right balance and good structure and persistence. Ideal with first courses prepared with tomato sauce, timbale, wild boar red meat and seasoned cheese.
