The Collio Rosso Tenuta Sant'Helena Venko by Fantinel is born in the vineyards of Gorizia of Vencò, in the heart of the DOC Collio. It is produced with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Nero grapes, picked and selected only by hand. After partial drying of the grapes, fermentation takes place, with maceration, at a controlled temperature for 20 days. The wine is then aged for 24 months in oak barrels from Allier and Slavonia before being bottled. Fantinel's Tenuta Sant'Helena Venko has a deep ruby red colour. It opens with a broad and intense bouquet aroma of wild berries. On the palate it is powerful and velvety, with soft tannins and a pleasantly balanced finish. Ideal to accompany red meat dishes and game.
